The X5 includes all the features and capabilities of the X3 plus one significant addition: the capability to embed continuous fiberglass inside the part for even greater strength.  The fiberglass reinforced parts from the X5 are up to 10x stronger than most 3D printed plastic parts.  Amazing surface finish, extreme reliability, and inordinately strong parts…3D printed over night.

Higher strength-to-weight than 6061 Aluminum

The Mark Two prints outer contours and curves in engineering nylon and fills each part with close-packed reinforcement in continuous carbon fiber; Kevlar; fiberglass; or high strength, high temperature fiberglass.

The printer actively switches between two nozzles during a print, creating fiber-reinforced plastic parts with a strength-to-weight ratio better than aluminum.
